Kerajaan Negeri akan pastikan akses pendidikan untuk semua anak Sabah (Dwibahasa)

TAMPARULI: Kerajaan Negeri komited untuk memastikan tiada anak Sabah, khususnya daripada kumpulan B40, tercicir dalam mendapatkan akses kepada peluang pendidikan.

 

Ketua Menteri Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor berkata, di bawah pelan pembangunan Sabah Maju Jaya 1.0 sebelum ini, pelbagai inisiatif telah dilaksanakan termasuk bantuan persekolahan dan biasiswa bagi menyokong proses pembelajaran serta merapatkan jurang pendidikan.

 

“Inisiatif bantuan pendidikan ini akan diteruskan di bawah pelan pembangunan Sabah Maju Jaya 2.0,” katanya pada majlis penyampaian cermin mata kepada murid sekolah oleh Sabah Electricity sempena program Tanggungjawab Sosial Korporat (CSR) di SK Tamparuli di sini hari ini.

 

Teks ucapan beliau disampaikan oleh Pembantu Menteri kepada Ketua Menteri, Datuk Joniston Bangkuai.

 

“Sehubungan itu, saya ingin menegaskan bahawa semua syarikat berkaitan kerajaan (GLC) negeri perlu memainkan peranan yang lebih aktif dalam membantu golongan yang memerlukan, khususnya kumpulan B40.

 

“Sumbangan kepada masyarakat bukan sekadar satu pilihan, tetapi merupakan satu tanggungjawab selaras dengan mandat penubuhan GLC itu sendiri.

 

“Saya mahu setiap GLC terus melaksanakan program tanggungjawab sosial korporat yang berimpak tinggi, berfokus dan mampan, khususnya dalam memperkasa pendidikan, kebajikan serta pembangunan modal insan rakyat Sabah,” katanya.

 

Selain itu, Hajiji berkata setiap inisiatif yang dilaksanakan akan dipantau secara telus dan sistematik, dengan laporan berkala dikemukakan kepada Kerajaan Negeri bagi memastikan keberkesanan dan akauntabiliti program.

 

“Pendekatan holistik yang mengimbangi prestasi operasi, kelestarian kewangan dan tanggungjawab sosial adalah selari dengan aspirasi Kerajaan Negeri di bawah Sabah Maju Jaya 2.0,” katanya.

 

Ketua Menteri turut menasihati para penerima sumbangan CSR agar menjadikan bantuan tersebut sebagai motivasi untuk terus berusaha dan kekal fokus dalam pelajaran mereka.

TAMPARULI: The State Government is committed to ensuring that no children in Sabah, particularly those from the B40 group, are left behind in accessing educational opportunities.

 

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor said in the previous Sabah Maju Jaya 1.0 development plan, various initiatives have been implemented, including school assistance and scholarships to support the learning process and narrow the education gap.  

 

"These various educational assistance initiatives will be continued under the Sabah Maju Jaya 2.0 development plan," he said at the presentation of spectacles to school children from Sabah Electricity as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at SK Tamparuli here today.

 

His speech was delivered by Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Joniston Bangkuai.

 

“In this regard, I would like to emphasise that all State government-linked companies (GLCs) must play a more active role in assisting those in need, especially the B40 group.

 

“Contributing to society is not merely an option, but an obligation in line with the mandate of the establishment of GLCs themselves.

 

“I want every GLC to continue implementing corporate social responsibility programmes that are high-impact, focused and sustainable, particularly in empowering education, welfare and the development of human capital for the people of Sabah,” he said.

 

In addition, Hajiji said every initiative implemented will be monitored in a transparent and systematic manner, with periodic reports submitted to the State Government to ensure the effectiveness and accountability of the programmes.

 

“A holistic approach that balances operational performance, financial sustainability and social responsibility is in line with the State Government’s aspirations under the Sabah Maju Jaya 2.0,” he said.

 

The Chief Minister advised the recipients of the CSR to make the contribution as a motivation for them to continue striving and to remain focused in their studies.
