KOTA KINABALU: Republic of Azerbaijan is keen to forge bilateral trade relations with  Sabah. 

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Malaysia  Irfan Davudof said this when meeting Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji  Noor at Menara Kinabalu, here today. 

An oil and natural gas producer, Azerbaijan, located at the boundary of Eastern Europe  and Western Asia, is also a well-known tourist destination. 

Davudof was accompanied by Azerbaijan Embassy First Secretary, Sabnam Karimova.  Ends
