KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor was briefed  on the latest security situation in the Eastern Sabah Security Zone (ESSZone) by  Eastern Sabah Security Command (ESSCOM) Commander DCP Victor Sanjos.  

It was Victor's first courtesy call to the Chief Minister at Menara Kinabalu on Tuesday  since being appointed as the commander of ESSCOM in June this year. 

The Chief Minister was also informed about the various community programmes  implemented to raise the security awareness level among the ESSZone community.  

Also in the ESSCOM entourage was Chief Executive Officer Dr Jamaluddin Mohd Ali. 

Hajiji also received an update on the state's maritime situation during the meeting with  Sabah and Labuan Maritime Director, First Admiral Maritime, Che Engku Suhaimi Che  Engku Daik. 

The Sabah Maritime delegates included Deputy Director (Operations) Captain Maritime  Mahmad Faizal Ahmad and Deputy Director (Management) Siti Norhaini Osli.
