KOTA KINABALU: Some 140 teams are expected to take part in the Eighth Sabah FCAS International Dragon Boat Race 2023 this year. 

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor was briefed on this by the Federation of Chinese Association Sabah (FCAS) entourage led by President TanSri T C Goh during a courtesy call at Bilik Danum in the State Assembly building today. 

Goh informed the Chief Minister that Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin and wife Toh Puan Norlidah Tan Sri R.M Jasni will grace the three-day event beginning June16. 

At the same time, Goh also briefed Hajiji on the programmes lined up in conjunction with the National Chinese Cultural Festival hosted by FCAS this year. 

Also present were Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk NizamAbuBakarTitingan, FCAS Deputy President and organising Chairperson Datuk Susan Wong as well as FCAS committee members.
