KOTA KINABALU: Newly-appointed State Education Director Raisin Saidin met with  Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor at his office in Menara Kinabalu near here today. 

"I hope the State Education Department under Raisin will continue to assist the State  Government in its effort to uplift academic excellence in Sabah," said the Chief Minister. 

Raisin who was a Senior Deputy Director at the Education Ministry replaced Datuk Tah  Nia Jaman. 

Accompanying Raisin were senior officers from the State Education Department.
